Mounters 13
Mounters is a classic London Dry Gin distilled in small batches in Marnhull, Dorset. Having initially launched with a ‘homespun’ label, we were tasked with creating an impactful design which would standout in a very crowded marketplace.
The product is distilled using 13 botanicals, so we turned the ‘M’ of Mounters on it’s side to create a number 13 which playfully encourages you to tip the bottle and pour yourself another.
The label references classic art deco motifs using strong geometric shapes picked out in copper foil on a pastel aqua pattern of juniper leaves. The idea extends across POS and adverting which encourages consumers to ‘Get Lucky’ or ‘Try their luck’ on No. 13.
“The decision to rebrand and have new labels designed presented Beeson and Beeson with a challenge, as we are in an extremely crowded market. Their analysis of this market, and our business, led to an initial presentation featuring a number of different concepts, all of which had great potential. Eventually focussing in one area, both Mel and Gareth were a delight to work with, showing great inspiration, experience and empathy toward our needs, and also liaising directly with the printers.
